Job Title: Material Handler

PAY RATE - $19-22 DOE

HOURS - 8am-5pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support warehouse operations at Treasury Wine Estates. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, transporting materials, and ensuring production runs smoothly. The ideal candidate is skilled in forklift operation, organized, and safety-conscious.

Key Responsibilities:

-Load and unload incoming and outgoing dry goods and finished products.

-Identify and label materials, recording their locations in the warehouse.

-Perform and report cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.

-Reconcile materials returned to inventory after work order completion and close work orders in the JD Edwards (JDE) system.

-Schedule glass dunnage returns and provide break relief for production lines.

-Create and coordinate glass transfers based on 4-week schedules and update utilization schedules.

-Maintain accurate warehouse inventory and deliver necessary components to fulfill work orders.

-Prepare and manage weekly glass delivery files.

-Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Qualifications:

-High school diploma or GED.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word.

-Forklift certification and valid driver's license required.

-Proven forklift experience, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

-Familiarity with JD Edwards or similar inventory management systems.

-Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.

-Ability to lift and maneuver up to 55 lbs and work in a warehouse environment, including at heights.

Work Environment:

-Warehouse setting with varying temperatures.

-Requires standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.

-May involve occasional overtime, evenings, or weekends.
