Partners Personnel is now hiring for a warehouse General Labor position in Suffolk VA. This is for a First Shift position which is Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 4 PM. 

• Receiving and unloading shipments:Unloading trucks, checking deliveries against invoices, and moving received items to designated storage areas. 

  
  
• Picking and packing orders:Selecting items from inventory based on customer orders, accurately packing them for shipment, and labeling packages. 

  
  
• Inventory management:Maintaining accurate stock levels by scanning items, rotating stock, and identifying discrepancies. 

  
  
• Loading and shipping orders:Preparing pallets for shipment, loading trucks, and ensuring correct labeling and documentation. 

  
  
• Warehouse organization:Maintaining cleanliness and order within the warehouse, including sweeping floors, organizing shelves, and removing debris. 

  
  
• Operating warehouse equipment:Using pallet jacks, forklifts (with proper certification), or other material handling equipment as needed. 

  
  

• Physical stamina to lift boxes and stand for extended periods
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in picking and packing orders
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Basic math skills for inventory counting and order verification
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
