Job Title: Certified Reach Truck Warehouse Driver & Order Picker
Location: Sumner Wa.
Pay Rate: $20
Shift: Monday- Friday 6AM-5PM ( Overtime offered during busy season)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Certified Reach Truck Warehouse Driver to join our team. This position involves operating a reach truck to safely store and retrieve products within the warehouse and performing order picking tasks to fulfill customer orders. The ideal candidate will have experience with reach truck operation and be comfortable with picking and packing orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reach Truck Operation:

  • Safely operate a reach truck to move products and materials in the warehouse, ensuring proper handling and storage of inventory.
  • Conduct routine safety checks on the reach truck and report any malfunctions.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by following best practices for equipment use and storage.

• Order Picking & Packing:

  • Accurately pick and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring the correct products are selected according to order specifications.
  • Use handheld scanners or other technology to track and update inventory levels and order statuses.
  • Ensure that picked items are properly packed and ready for shipping, paying attention to details like labels, packaging materials, and order accuracy.

• Inventory Management:

  • Assist in managing stock levels and inventory counts, helping to maintain accurate records of product movement within the warehouse.
  • Report discrepancies in inventory levels to the supervisor or manager.

• Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of equipment, PPE, and warehouse protocols.
  • Maintain a high level of safety awareness while working in and around the warehouse.

• Team Collaboration:

  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure that warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Valid Reach Truck Certification required.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations and order picking preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Basic math skills and the ability to read and understand order forms.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
