Partners Personnel is seeking a Shipping Clerk for a large manufacturing plant. Previous experience scheduling trucks for shipments, handling logistics with carriers like FedEx, UPS, and other trucking systems, operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts for material handling, and performing cycle counts will be required.

Job Title: Shipping Clerk

Pay rate: $19.00

Schedule: Monday – Friday (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM) 

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and coordinate shipments using FedEx, UPS, and other trucking systems to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Ensure all shipping documentation is complete and accurate.
• Operate both sit-down and stand-up forklifts to handle materials and products within the warehouse.
• Perform cycle counts regularly to maintain inventory accuracy and ensure stock levels are properly tracked.
• Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to meet shipping deadlines and optimize workflow.
• Address and resolve shipping discrepancies, such as missing or damaged items.
• Follow all safety protocols while handling materials and operating equipment.
• Assist with unloading and loading trucks when needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized shipping and receiving area.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a shipping clerk or in a logistics role, with a focus on scheduling shipments and managing carrier relationships (FedEx, UPS, etc.).
• Sit-down and stand-up forklift experience required.
• Strong inventory management skills, with experience conducting cycle counts.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in documentation and shipping records.
• Basic computer skills and experience using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
