Job Overview:

The General Laborer is responsible for assisting with a variety of tasks in construction, maintenance, warehouse, or manufacturing environments. This role involves working with hand tools, heavy equipment, and machinery to ensure the smooth operation of daily tasks, often under supervision or guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Physical Labor: Assist in lifting, carrying, loading, unloading, and organizing materials and supplies.
• Construction Support: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, setting up scaffolding, and carrying construction materials.
• Equipment Operation: Operate basic machinery and hand tools (e.g., drills, saws, shovels, or forklifts) safely and efficiently.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by cleaning tools, equipment, and work areas, ensuring proper disposal of waste or materials.
• Assembly or Production: In manufacturing settings, assist in assembling products, operating production lines, or packaging goods.
• Collaboration: Work as part of a team with other laborers, supervisors, and skilled tradespeople.
• Follow Safety Protocols: Comply with safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent accidents.
• Assist Skilled Workers: Support skilled trades such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers by providing necessary tools, materials, or assistance with their tasks.
• Heavy Lifting: Perform lifting and carrying of heavy materials or equipment, often requiring physical stamina.
• General Assistance: May be required to handle other duties as assigned by supervisors or team leads, including inventory control, unloading deliveries, or assisting in setup or teardown of equipment.

Education & Experience:
