Job Title: Mechanical Assembler Associate
Location: North Las Vegas
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18.50/hr

Job Summary

As a Mechanical Assembler Associate, you will play an essential role in the handling, repair, refurbishment, and assembly of electric vehicle battery packs, adhering to strict safety and service standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

Inspect and receive battery packs and components.
Assemble and refurbish batteries with the use of new materials and tools.
Disassemble battery packs, sorting and organizing materials for recycling or reuse.
Clean and apply thermal paste to battery protection plates.
Safely package batteries for shipping.
Perform diagnostics and basic repairs on battery packs as needed.
Support safety protocols, participate in staging and documentation processes, and assist with testing operations.
Complete additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills and Abilities

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Proficiency in handling tools such as torque wrenches, impact guns, multimeters, and cranes.
Excellent organizational skills and a commitment to workplace safety.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Reliable attendance and punctuality are a must.
Steel-toe or composite work boots required from the first day.
PPE (vest, gloves, safety glasses) will be provided.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs individually and up to 137 lbs with assistance.
Frequent standing, bending, stooping, and lifting throughout the shift.
Clear near and far vision with strong hand-eye coordination.

Work Environment

Warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
Potential exposure to dust and fumes.
Certain tasks may require working outdoors.
