Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Turret Truck Driver to join our team in Pooler, GA. As a Turret Truck Driver, you will be responsible for operating a specialized forklift to pick and place pallets of goods within a high-racking warehouse system. This role requires precision, focus, and a strong commitment to safety in navigating narrow aisles and working at heights. Key Responsibilities:

• Operating Turret Truck: Safely and efficiently operate a turret truck to move pallets within the warehouse, especially in narrow aisles.
• Order Picking: Accurately pick customer orders from designated rack locations using the turret truck's reach capabilities.
• Inventory Management: Put away incoming pallets into their designated storage locations on the racking system.
• Stock Rotation: Ensure proper stock rotation by adhering to FIFO (First In, First Out) principles.
• RF Scanner Usage: Use radio frequency scanners to track inventory and update product locations during order picking and storage.
• Quality Checks: Inspect products for damage or discrepancies while picking and report any issues immediately.
• Loading and Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading trailers as needed using the turret truck.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Forklift Certification: Valid forklift operator license with specific training on operating a turret truck.
• Warehouse Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse setting, preferably with narrow aisle forklift operation.
• Attention to Detail: Strong ability to accurately pick orders, maintain inventory, and track products.
• Physical Fitness: Must be comfortable working at heights and performing repetitive tasks while operating the turret truck.
• Basic Math Skills: Able to perform basic calculations for inventory counts and order quantities.
• Good Hand-Eye Coordination: Precision and skill in maneuvering the turret truck in tight spaces.
