Job Title: Sit-Down Forklift Operator

Schedule: Saturday - Wednesday, 11:00am - 7:30pm
Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join our team in Torrance, CA. As a Sit-Down Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a sit-down forklift to load, unload, and transport materials within our warehouse and distribution center. Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move materials and products around the warehouse or production area.

• Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring products are handled with care.

• Organize inventory and materials in designated storage locations, ensuring efficient access.

• Assist with loading pallets and staging materials for shipment.

• Perform daily equipment checks and report any maintenance or safety concerns.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

• Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with all warehouse and company policies.

• Assist in inventory control and reporting as needed.

• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals.

 

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift is required.

• Valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification through the company.

• Ability to safely lift, move, and stack materials weighing up to [XX] pounds.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is a plus.
