Sanitation Associate
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sanitation Associate to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall sanitation of our facility. Your efforts will directly contribute to a healthy and safe environment for our employees, customers, and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment, tools, and facility areas according to established standards and schedules.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including OSHA and [relevant regulatory bodies, e.g., FDA, USDA].
Properly handle and dispose of waste materials, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
Maintain accurate records of cleaning schedules and completed tasks.
Assist in inspections and audits related to sanitation and report any issues or concerns to management.
Safely operate cleaning equipment and use cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety protocols.
Support other departments as needed to maintain a clean and efficient work environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in sanitation, custodial work, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Comfortable working in environments with exposure to cleaning chemicals, varying temperatures, and noise levels.
Physically capable of standing, bending, lifting up to [50lbs], and performing repetitive tasks for extended periods.
