### **Job Description:**

The **Warehouse Operations Lead** plays a crucial role in the daily coordination and supervision of all warehouse activities. Working under the direction of the **Operations Supervisor**, this position ensures the efficient receiving, warehousing, and shipping of products while maintaining the highest standards of service and cost-efficiency.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

- **Supervision of Warehouse Activities**: Oversee and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including the unloading of inbound shipments, proper stacking of products, and the picking and staging of outbound shipments.

- **Productivity Management**: Ensure all warehouse activities are performed with a focus on achieving optimal productivity levels. This includes setting and enforcing productivity standards, tracking performance, and offering support to team members as needed.

- **Safety & Compliance**: Maintain a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with all safety protocols and regulations. Conduct regular safety checks and take proactive measures to prevent accidents.

- **Team Leadership**: Supervise and support warehouse associates, ensuring they are properly trained, equipped, and motivated to meet performance goals. Provide guidance and coaching on best practices for warehouse operations.

- **Inventory Management**: Assist with inventory control, ensuring products are stored correctly and stock levels are accurately tracked. Report any discrepancies in inventory to management.

- **Quality Control**: Ensure that all outgoing shipments meet company quality standards, including proper packaging, labeling, and accuracy of orders.

- **Collaboration & Communication**: Work closely with other warehouse departments and management to ensure smooth workflows and resolve any issues promptly. Communicate effectively with the Operations Supervisor regarding daily activities, challenges, and improvements.

- **Continuous Improvement**: Identify and recommend improvements to warehouse processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall service.

### **Qualifications & Skills:**

- **Experience**: Previous experience in warehouse operations or supervision preferred. Experience in a similar role with knowledge of logistics and inventory management is highly desirable.

- **Leadership Skills**: Strong supervisory and team leadership abilities, with experience in coaching and motivating warehouse staff.

- **Communication**: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff and management.

- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to monitor operations closely and ensure that all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Ability to address and resolve operational challenges quickly, while maintaining service levels.

- **Physical Stamina**: Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
