Job Title: Material Handler

Shift: 4:30 PM – 12:30 AM
Pay Rate: $16.00/hour

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Material Handler to join our team in Pooler, GA. The Material Handler will play a crucial role in supporting warehouse operations by ensuring efficient movement and storage of materials and products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and Inspect Materials: Unload, inspect, and verify incoming materials to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with company standards.
• Inventory Management: Track inventory levels, update records, and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Order Fulfillment: Assist in picking and packing materials for orders based on production or shipping requirements.
• Storage and Organization: Ensure materials are stored in designated areas, and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Equipment Operation: Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hand trucks, safely and efficiently.
• Shipping and Receiving: Assist in loading/unloading shipments and verify shipping documents for accuracy.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Other Duties as Assigned: Assist with other warehouse or production tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience in warehouse or material handling preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).
• Forklift certification is a plus, or the ability to obtain certification.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management and tracking.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
