We are currently seeking a General Laborer for a sprinkler and fire protection manufacturing company.  

Job Title:  General Labor

Pay rate: $18.50/hr.

Schedule: Mon – Fri (1:00 PM to 11:30 PM) + OT as needed

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist in the assembly of sprinkler systems, pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Help with the installation of fire protection equipment, including working with tools and machinery.
• Ensure that all components are correctly aligned, fitted, and securely attached.
• Clean, deburr, and prep metal or plastic parts before they are assembled.
• Load and unload materials and products.
• Move materials to and from various areas of the production floor.
• Provide support to other departments, such as assembly, welding, or production teams.
• Assist with other tasks as needed, depending on the company's operations

Requirements:

• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Ability to handle tools, machines, and materials with precision.
• Physical endurance to lift, move, and assemble heavy components (often up to 50 lbs or more).
• Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, kneel, or crouch as needed.
• Understanding basic mechanical systems, which can help when assembling or troubleshooting sprinkler systems or other fire protection components.
• Ability to work with mechanical tools and follow instructions for setup and operation.
