We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Warehouse Lead to join our team. The Warehouse Lead will oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving and storing goods, managing inventory, and ensuring efficient operations. This role is responsible for coordinating the workflow of the warehouse team, maintaining high safety standards, and meeting productivity goals. Key Responsibilities:
- Team Supervision: Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates to meet production targets and quality standards. Provide training, coaching, and feedback to ensure high performance.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control processes to ensure accurate tracking of materials and products. Conduct regular inventory checks and resolve discrepancies.
- Order Fulfillment: Ensure timely and accurate picking, packing, and shipping of orders. Coordinate with other departments to meet delivery timelines.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe and clean work environment by enforcing safety regulations and conducting regular safety inspections. Promote a culture of safety within the team.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in warehouse processes, and work with management to implement solutions that increase efficiency.
- Reporting: Track and report on key performance metrics, such as productivity, accuracy, and team performance. Provide regular updates to management on operational activities.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure warehouse equipment is properly maintained and used safely. Schedule repairs and preventative maintenance as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum of [3 years] in a warehouse or logistics role, with at least [2 years] in a leadership or supervisory position.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and effectively.
- Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
