Partners Personnel is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Building Maintenance Worker to join our warehouse team in Largo, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the warehouse, both inside and outside, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.

1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00AM - 3:30PM (Overtime starting at 5:00AM)

Pay: $15/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Warehouse Cleaning:

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal.

  • Clean and maintain restrooms, break areas, and common spaces.

  • Ensure all waste is properly sorted and disposed of according to company guidelines.

• Exterior Property Maintenance:

  • Maintain the cleanliness of the warehouse grounds, including parking lots, sidewalks, and entryways.

  • Remove debris from walkways and loading docks as needed.

• General Maintenance:

  • Conduct routine inspections of the warehouse to identify and address any maintenance issues.

  • Assist with minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs, fixing leaks, and patching walls.

  • Report any major maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.

• Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure all cleaning and maintenance tasks are performed in compliance with safety regulations.

  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working order and stored properly.

  • Participate in safety meetings and training sessions as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in building maintenance, janitorial services, or a related field preferred.

• Ability to operate basic maintenance tools and equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.

• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.

• Physical ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy objects.

Working Conditions:

• Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor environments.

• Exposure to various weather conditions when performing exterior maintenance tasks.

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings, as needed.
