Forklift Driver
Key Responsibilities:
Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts (including reach forklifts) to load, unload, and move materials in a safe and efficient manner.
Inventory Management: Assist in the organization and inventory of products in the warehouse, ensuring proper placement and storage.
Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of equipment and materials to ensure they meet safety and quality standards.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, reporting any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to management.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory movement, including receiving and shipping documentation.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse staff and management to meet production goals and deadlines.
Stand-Up Design: Operators stand while driving, which allows for greater visibility and maneuverability in tight spaces.
Reach Capability: Equipped with extendable forks that can reach into racking systems to pick up pallets stored at height, maximizing vertical storage space.
Maneuverability: Compact design allows for easy navigation in narrow aisles, making it ideal for warehouses with limited space.
Lift Height: Capable of lifting loads to significant heights, often up to 30 feet or more, depending on the model.
Versatility: Suitable for various tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, picking orders, and managing inventory in warehouses.
Operator Controls: Typically features ergonomic controls for ease of use, reducing operator fatigue during long shifts
