Job Title: Freezer Picker

Pay Rate: $16.50/hour with Weekly Pay

Schedule (Days and Time): Sunday-Thursday (7am-3:30pm)

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to fill the position of Freezer Picker in our logistics company located in Richmond, VA. The Freezer Picker will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks in a warehouse setting, including but not limited to picking orders, operating material handling equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized freezer environment.

Responsibilities:

• Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently using a handheld scanner and voice pick technology.
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
• Maintain a clean and organized freezer environment by removing empty pallets and sweeping floors.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines in the handling of products and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and management regarding product availability, order issues, and safety concerns.
• Participate in training and development activities as required to enhance job knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in a cold environment (freezer temperature ranges from -10°F to 0°F)
• Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred
• Ability to operate material handling equipment and follow safety protocols
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
