We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Clerical Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and office support tasks. The ideal candidate will assist in day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth office workflows. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and a willingness to learn.


Payrate: $18.00 DOE

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 430pm


Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct phone calls and emails to the appropriate departments.
  • Greet visitors and assist with inquiries.
  • Manage and maintain office filing systems (paper and digital).
  • Handle data entry, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records.
  • Prepare, format, and print documents, reports, and memos as needed.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and coordinate calendars.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing mail.
  • Assist with photocopying, scanning, and faxing documents.
  • Provide general support to other staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous clerical or administrative experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and multitask.
  • Basic knowledge of office equipment (printers, scanners, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions:

  • Occasional lifting of office supplies or packages (up to 20 lbs).
