Bakery Ingredient Warehouse in Chandler/Gilbert area in need of Pre-Scale Associate  

Tempe to Hire opportunity  

Monday to Friday $19.00

Mon- Thur 2:30- TO 11:00pm

Friday 1:30PM to 10PM

Job Description:

•    Safely handle materials to be weighed, this includes bags, containers, boxes, and bulk totes.

•    Dispense ingredients into approved bags/containers using proper cGMP’s. 

•    Weigh or measure ingredient per formula to maintain relevant records, using scales. 

•    Prepare identification labels and attach them to products. 

•    Document ingredient type, weight, and lot numbers per formula into production records.

•    Use of scales ranging in units of measure to include grams, Kilograms and Pounds. 

•    Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). 

Requirements:

•    Previous manufacturing and/or food production experience is preferred.

•    Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices in food production is preferred.

•    Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging, environment.

•    Ability to effectively understand and follow a variety of guidelines and work procedures (including health, safety, hygiene and sanitation).

•    Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and effective communication with peers, supervisors.

•    Basic math skills.

•    Strong physical endurance; ability to lift up to 60lbs.

•    Ability to stand; walk; for long periods of time.

•    Able and willing to work 8-10hrs daily

•    Must be flexible with work hours and be able to work overtime and weekends when needed
