Location: Winter Park, FL

Schedule: 7:00am to 3:30pm

Salary:  $17 -$20 DOE

Material handlers select and retrieve raw material. Stack finished material on pallets and label packaging appropriately. Move finished goods pallets to the warehouse or specified location and apply pallet wrapping; completed as specified per job jacket or given instructions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

• Verify, request, pull, receive raw materials as specified per job jacket.
• Prepare tape machine and labeling products as needed for each job.
• Lift, stack and arrange finished goods onto pallets as specified.
• Prepare finished pallet for wrapping (corner boards, pallet labels, top cap).
• Conduct inventory so must be detailed oriented
• Some data entry
• Stocking of products
• Basic maintenance – have carpentry skills, painting of the building, cleaning, be able to fix fans, etc. – very handy
• Will be the 2nd driver- when the regular driver is not able to make deliveries or out, they will need to be able to so must have valid driver’s license- does not need a CDL. 
• Will mostly work indoors but there is work outdoors as well, so must be okay with working outdoors in the heat or when it is cold. 
• Will clean the facilities- sweep, pick up, keeping areas neat and organized
• Will also have to maintain truck- check tire pressure, check oil and all fluids. Check all lights are in working order. 

Skills and Qualifications:

• 1 - 2 years of experience is preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to read and understand job jackets.
• Ability to prioritize and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner.
• Able to effectively handle multiple priorities with a strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
