Job Title: High-Reach Forklift Operator

Location: Elizabethtown Area

Pay Rate: $20 - $21 per hour

Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 7:00 AM until finished (Must be available for overtime)

Working Conditions: Must be comfortable working in cold and damp conditions, including freezer environments. Typical temperatures are around 32°F, with freezer temperatures ranging from 0°F to -10°F.

Job Description:

We are currently hiring for High-Reach Forklift Operators for a premier warehouse located in the Elizabethtown area. The ideal candidate will have experience operating high-reach forklifts and will be responsible for various warehouse tasks to ensure efficient operations.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.

Put away products in designated storage areas.

Build pallets up to 6 feet high.

Maintain high picking accuracy for orders.

Familiarity with food production processes, including the picking of raw materials and the put away of finished goods.

Support the production room as needed.

Pick all Single Source orders for 2nd shift loadout, achieving a picking quota of 120 cases/hour with high accuracy.

Use protective materials and strapping equipment to secure loads; properly dispose of waste materials.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Move and lift wooden skids or pallets as necessary.

Education / Experience / Working Relationships:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts (high-reach/stand-up) and working in a warehouse environment.

Experience with dock operations and order picking is preferred.

Reports directly to the Dock Supervisor.

Completion of FSQA training is a plus.

Basic problem-solving skills and knowledge of general warehouse practices.

Basic math skills required.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

Occasional sitting, walking, and kneeling (up to 3 hours).

Frequent bending at the neck (3-6 hours).

Constantly bending at the waist, squatting, twisting at the neck and waist, and grasping/pushing (6+ hours).

Lifting and carrying frequently (up to 75 lbs) for extended periods (6+ hours).

Operation of forklifts and other equipment.

Working around heavy machinery in cold and damp conditions.

Additional Requirements:

Ability to follow clear directions and procedures.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
