Job Title: Production Associate

Pay rate: $22.00  

2nd shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM – must be flexible to work O, weekends, and holidays

Location: Doraville, GA

Responsibilities:

• Operating assigned machinery and/or equipment operation in a safe and productive manner in accordance with Operational Standard Work and supervisor instructions.
• Operate equipment associated with producing units and/or operate material handling equipment as assigned.
• Follows all applicable safety policies and practices, including but not limited to, use of all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), ensuring machine guards and safety features are working, and promoting good safety practices
• May be responsible for the operation of complex equipment and/or machinery with minimal supervision.
• Visual inspection of product to ensure quality.
• Responsible for housekeeping and general maintenance functions within work area.
• Adhere to work locations rules and procedures
• Perform operations assignment as directed by the supervisor.
• Problem solve and troubleshoot technical issues related to machinery, operations, or equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently
• Additional job-related experience may be required as a pre-requisite for select technical positions
• A minimum of 3 years of prior manufacturing production experience is required within the appliable skillset for the position
• Must be willing and able to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as requested
• Occasional climbing/balancing
• Previous Forklift certification preferred 
• Requires continuous standing and frequent lifting/carrying, stooping/bending/squatting/pulling/pushing, twisting of the trunk and neck, reaching and grasping/squeezing
