A large Commercial Refrigeration company located in Suwanee; Ga seeks a Maintenance Technician 

Shift Schedule: 1^st shift : 6am to 2:45pm OT required 

Pay: $22/hr

Location: Suwanee, GA

Job Description: 

• . AS degree or advanced technical training/certifications preferred – with concentration in electrical. • Five years or more of experience in a manufacturing environment. • PC experience required with basic skills in Microsoft Word and Excel. • Must be able to read and interpret blue prints and drawings. • Must have strong skills in: o automation control o hydraulic systems o pneumatics • Must have a strong mechanical aptitude. • Must be able to conduct problem-solving analysis and seek resolution to problems in a timely manner, sensitive to production needs. • Must be able to set-up and maintain a schedule for maintenance of equipment. • Must be able to manage and monitor projects to ensure completion as scheduled. • Must be a goal-oriented team player. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Must be able to work overtime as required (weekends, off-shifts, holidays, etc.) • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Troubleshoot and perform repairs on electrical controls, machine tools and plant equipment where knowledge of electrical and electronic theory is required. • Set-up the calibration schedule of the main equipment. • Operate electrical test equipment such as voltmeter, amp-meter, and ohmmeter. • Guarantee production support systems such as power and water supply are in good working condition. Maintain plant HVAC system; i.e. filters, coil cleaning. • Perform any work of equal or lower grades, as requested, to support the operations of the facility. • Participate in required training and completion of project work by the assigned due date. • Maintain work areas in a clean and organized manner. Observe all quality, safety, hygiene, and environmental rules and regulations.
