Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Tire Mounting Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the automotive industry, particularly in tire mounting and balancing. As a Tire Mounting Technician, you will be responsible for mounting, dismounting, and balancing tires on various vehicles, ensuring safety and efficiency at all times.

Responsibilities:

1. Mount and dismount tires on passenger vehicles, trucks, and other automotive vehicles using appropriate tools and equipment.
2. Inspect tires for damage, wear, and other abnormalities, and provide recommendations for repair or replacement as needed.
3. Balance tires using precision equipment to ensure smooth vehicle operation and minimize vibration.
4. Install valve stems and perform tire pressure checks to ensure proper inflation levels.
5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tire mounting area, including tools, equipment, and workspaces.
6. Assist customers with tire selection and provide expert advice on tire care, maintenance, and safety.
7. Keep accurate records of tire inventory, including tracking stock levels and ordering replacement tires when necessary.
8. Collaborate with other team members to prioritize workload and ensure timely completion of tasks.
9. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
10. Continuously update knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a Tire Mounting Technician or similar role in the automotive industry preferred.
• Proficiency in using tire mounting and balancing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precision work.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Basic computer skills for recording inventory and communicating with team members.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred.
