Responsibilities

1. Receiving and Processing Shipments

   • Unloading trucks and checking in merchandise.
   • Receiving and processing incoming stock and materials.
   • Verifying the contents of shipments against purchase orders.

2. Inventory Management

   • Organizing and storing received items.
   • Conducting regular inventory counts and audits.
   • Ensuring accurate inventory records using warehouse management software.

3. Order Fulfillment

   • Picking and packing orders for shipment.
   • Preparing orders for shipping by labeling, packing, and ensuring proper documentation.
   • Loading trucks for outbound shipments.

4. Maintaining Warehouse Organization

   • Keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
   • Ensuring products are stored safely and in an orderly manner.
   • Managing space to accommodate new stock and shipments.

5. Operating Equipment

   • Using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move stock and materials.
   • Ensuring equipment is operated safely and maintained properly.

6. Quality Control

   • Inspecting goods for damage or defects.
   • Reporting any discrepancies or quality issues to supervisors.

7. Safety Compliance

   • Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
   • Wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
   • Participating in safety training and drills.
