Looking for an Expeditor for company in Santa Ana

The expeditor synchronizes and facilitates the flow of work and materials between and within a company's departments. Expeditors examine production and assign work to ensure compliance with production plans. This may include liaising with management to establish work progress.

Functions:.

• Expedite critical orders through site visits and focused communication
• Develop current vendors and qualify new vendors

(KPI) targets are met

• Own vendor scorecards and reporting
• Complete regular vendor audits with the quality team
• Respond to demand using the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software
• Create a Request for Quote (RFQ) package
• Negotiate price and delivery schedules with vendors
• Monitor and control orders once placed, maintaining records within the ERP system, company database, and other reporting tools in Microsoft office
• Review orders for completeness and certification with the quality team to provide

shipping release to vendors

• Ensure completion of open items within the ERP system to assist accounts payable with invoices
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• expeditor: 1 year (Preferred)
